Hey Fir Grove Alumni!

Fir Grove PTO is excited to announce their new Former Furry Grover College/Career Scholarship!

Current Beaverton School District high school seniors who are former Fir Grove Elementary students are invited to apply for one of two $500 scholarships to support their post-high school academic and career goals.

The scholarship, sponsored by Fir Grove PTO, was created to support our community’s next generation and celebrate students who got their start right here at Fir Grove, investing in their bright futures ahead.

Requirements:

Students must have attended Fir Grove Elementary School in Beaverton, OR for at least one school year and are current 2025-2026 academic year BSD high school seniors planning to continue their education at a higher education institution or career training program after graduation.

By February 28, 2026, at 11:59 pm PT, please submit the following:

• This Application Form
• Personal statement essay (500 words max)
• Current high school transcript (unofficial transcript, including classes and grades for 9th, 10th, and 11th, as well as in-progress senior year courses)

Applicants will be evaluated on their:

• Academic background
• Character, citizenship, personal accomplishments & goals
• Service to others

This is a one-time $500 scholarship. Winners will be notified by May 1, 2026. Fir Grove PTO will issue a check to the scholarship winner(s) by June 30, 2026, to be applied to their education/career training expenses.
