It’s time to BLAST OFF Furry Grovers! Fir Grove’s Annual Fun Run is the PTO’s biggest annual fundraiser and a super fun day students look forward to every year! This year’s Fun Run theme is “OUTTA THIS WORLD!” Let’s reach for the stars and reach our $30,000 goal!

Help your student collect donation pledges from family and friends to support them on race day and help Fir Grove PTO raise funds for critical school programs including Field Trips, Music, School Supplies, Art Literacy, School Dances, Class Parties and so much more! Your student has the chance to win some AMAZING prizes (listed below!), not just for dollars raised, but also for top runners and school spirit! It’s never been easier to earn a Fun Run prize!

The Fun Run our school’s ONLY large fundraising event of the year and makes up nearly 75% of the Fir Grove PTO annual budget – supporting your student’s Fun Run fundraising efforts makes such a huge difference!

Sept 26 – Fun Run Kick Off Assembly, PledgeStar online fundraising opens

Oct 9 – Fun Run Day! Every student receives a FREE Fun Run T-Shirt!

Oct 10 – No School

Oct 17 – PledgeStar online fundraising closes, all check donations submitted to Fir Grove by this date

Setting Up PledgeStar Online Fundraising

All Fun Run donations and pledges are now collected online on PledgeStar! This allows students to accept payments easily via credit card or check. After you set up your student’s PledgeStar account, you can use PledgeStar’s built-in tools to send donation requests to family & friends, post on social media or print a QR code to share with neighbors. Just give out your student’s PledgeStar page link to anyone who wants to donate!

Your friends, family and neighbors can still make check donations through PledgeStar. Once they have submitted their pledge on your student’s PledgeStar page, PledgeStar will provide them instructions on how they can submit their check payment to Fir Grove directly – no money collection for you!

1. Visit pledgestar.com/firgrove

2. Click “Not Registered For This Event?”

3. Enter your name & email, then click “Submit”

4. Follow onscreen instructions to register your Runner(s)

5. Use PledgeStar’s built-in tools to send donation requests to family & friends, post on social media or print a QR code to share with neighbors

When is Fun Run Day? Thursday October 9! Remember, there is no school on Friday October 10.

Where is the Fun Run? The Fun Run course will be set up in Fir Grove’s North parking lot, the location of end of day dismissal.

What prizes can students win? Your student has the chance to win some AMAZING prizes, not just for dollars raised, but also for top runners and school spirit! It’s never been easier to earn a Fun Run prize!

Do students get a Fun Run shirt? Yes! Each student will receive a FREE Fun Run T-Shirt when they arrive at school that day to wear for the race. Submit your student’s T-Shirt Size here (one form per student).

Can I watch my student run? Yes! Each class will run at a specific time on Thursday October 9, see schedule below. On Fun Run Day, all spectators and volunteers must check in at the Main Office BEFORE going out to the Fun Run track in the North parking lot. We highly suggest downloading the Raptor Safe app for a faster check in process. All Fun Run spectators and volunteers must scan their Raptor Safe app QR code or a valid ID for check in at the Main Office. More Volunteer information below.
